Princeton University is an open campus, available for the campus community and visitors alike to explore campus outdoor spaces.
Faculty, staff and students are able to reserve outdoor space for University purposes, including building arches and courtyards. Please complete an inquiry form to complete your request. Outdoor space cannot be reserved by external groups including those that qualify to use other campus facilities.
Photography on Campus
Those wishing to use campus for non commercial photography such as engagement or wedding shoots, are welcome to do so without a permit. Photos must be for personal use only and may not be published for profit. Princeton University cannot arrange for parking or vehicle access to campus. Wedding photography is not permitted in Prospect House Gardens while the facility is hosting a wedding ceremony or reception.
Arch Sings
Student groups wishing to reserve 1879 Arch or Blair Arch for arch sings or performances must fill out the ODUS Events Registration Form. Your reservation will not be confirmed without approval from ODUS.
Tents
If your approved event will require a tent please fill out the Facilities Events Support form as soon as possible. A representative from the Grounds and Building Maintenance department will be in contact regarding scheduling and the permitting process.
